Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join a Professional Services team in the McLean, VA area. You will work across architecture, onboarding, and platform adoption, driving rapid, secure software development with modern tooling.

The role emphasizes collaboration with multiple teams in a fast-paced agile setting, leveraging AWS, containers, and automation to deliver end-to-end solutions while enabling client success.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience with Typescript, Golang or Python.
• 5+ years of AWS experience.
• 5+ years of CI/CD and developer workflow automation (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Flux).
• 4+ years of Docker containerization and deployments.
• 4+ years of experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• 4+ years of IaC experience (Terraform, AWS CDK).
• 4+ years of using APM/monitoring tools (CloudWatch, New Relic, Grafana).
• Experience using AI tools to augment rapid prototyping (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, WindSurf).
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
• HS diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with software teams to understand architecture and tooling.
• Develop onboarding paths to our platform for new teams.
• Lead engineers across development teams in an agile environment.
• Translate customer needs into scalable platform features.
