Lab49 is hiring a Principal Full-Stack Developer to lead a strategic trading platform project for a global investment manager. You will guide architecture, design, and delivery while hands-on coding and mentoring cross-functional teams.

You will partner with clients, drive technical decisions, and ensure production-grade software delivery in a fast-paced financial services environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on Python or C# development.
• Hands-on React experience with modern state management.
• Extensive AWS architecture experience including Terraform and Docker.
• Experience operating in large, complex organizations (Tier-1 Investment Banks or Global Asset Managers).
• Deep understanding of SQL and data persistence strategies at scale.
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Expert-level knowledge of, and strong demonstrated interest in, global financial markets and financial products.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of a structured products trading platform using modern technologies.
• Design, document, and plan technical implementation and delivery of working software into production.
• Act as a hands-on engineer and architect to support ongoing project work and mentor teams.
• Build strong client relationships and act as a technical advisor to expand Lab49's footprint.
