Job summary

Cognizant in the United States is seeking a Lead Full Stack Engineer to design, build, and deliver scalable, secure software solutions for enterprise clients. You will lead a cross-functional team of engineers across services, data, APIs and UIs and mentor junior staff.

You will apply AI-assisted development tools responsibly, maintain code quality, and ensure observability, CI/CD, and production support. Remote work from West Palm Beach, FL with potential in-person interviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 12+ years of experience designing, developing, supporting, and deploying enterprise-grade software systems.
• Hands-on full-stack engineering experience across services, data, APIs, and user interfaces.
• Experience with technologies such as Python, Vue.js, AWS or Google Cloud Platform, Terraform, APIs, and cloud-native architecture patterns.
• Demonstrated experience building reliable, secure, and maintainable systems using testing, CI/CD, DevSecOps, observability, and production support practices.
• Ability to work directly with business stakeholders, build trust, communicate technical concepts clearly, and operate with autonomy in fast-paced environments.

Salary And Compensation

The annual salary for this position will be between $102,000 to $160,000 per year depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
