The Boeing Company, through Boeing Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A), is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer to shape a collaboration platform based on Drupal and open-source tools. You will lead a software team, influence architecture, and engage with user communities and leadership across multiple deployments.

Required are extensive software engineering experience, TS/SCI with CI polygraph, and proficiency with JavaScript ecosystems, Linux, PostgreSQL, and DevOps practices.

Senior Full-Stack Developer

Why This is an Exciting Role:

As a Senior Full-Stack Developer at Boeing Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A), you’ll be shaping a collaboration software platform based on the popular, open-sourceDrupal Content Management System and other open-source software products; you’ll support multiple deployments of this system, each providing important capabilities for a broad array of missions; you’ll be able to engage directly with the user community and customer leadership to learn how the system impacts them, capture and validate requirements, influence architecture and design decisions, and demonstrate new features; you’ll work with an existing team of talented developers and system supportstaff, with opportunities to learn from senior-level peers, assist and mentorjunior developers, and initiate improvements to the development environment, build pipelines, test automation, and other processes.

Experience and Qualifications:

To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:

Required Education and Years of Experience:

• 18 Years of experience in Software or Systems Engineering roles or a highly related field of work with similar scope and responsibilities.
• A Bachelor’s degree may be substituted for 4 years of experience and a Master’s Degree may be substituted for 6 years of experience.

Required Qualifications:

• TS/SCI with an active CI Polygraph
• Experience leading a software development team
• Experience with JQuery, Bootstrap, Angular, React and/or JavaScript
• Proficiency in building secure, reliable web applications on Linux servers
• Experience with relational database systems (e.g., PostgreSQL)
• Knowledge of, and experience with, Git workflows, continuous integration, andDevOps practices

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience leading Agile / Scrum teams
• Experience developing PHP-based web applications
• Experience working with NoSQL or document-based databases (e.g.,Elasticsearch)
• Knowledge of web accessibility and user experience design
• Experience applying Site Reliability Engineering practices
• Strong technical documentation and presentation skills

Telework/Remote Availability:

Hybrid work authorized (minimum 2-3 days onsite)

Summary Pay Range:

Please note that the information shown below is a general guideline only. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

$177,300 - $211,400
