Job summary

American IT Systems is seeking a Lead Full Stack Engineer to own frontend delivery for forecasting, commitment-tracking financial apps, and executive dashboards. Based in Austin, TX, you will lead UI architecture and collaborate with backend teams to deliver production-grade, AI-assisted narratives and dashboards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Full Stack Development.
• Hands-on ReactJS, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3.
• Expertise in Python and backend frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Hands-on experience with Git, CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Demonstrated experience owning both dashboard/UI delivery and executive reporting output.

Responsibilities

• Lead frontend architecture for forecasting and commitment-tracking applications.
• Build AI-assisted executive dashboards and drill-down UX for finance stakeholders.
• Architect and develop responsive front-end applications using ReactJS.
• Develop and maintain scalable backend systems and API-driven apps using Python.
• Own executive reporting delivery: dashboards, AI-drafted narrative and commentary.
• Deliver within the Client's primary frontend stack; harden prototype UI to production.
• Support post-transition delivery-metric reporting (cycle time, AI-generated code quality).
