Job summary

TAIT & Associates, Inc. is hiring a Fuel Construction Foreman to lead field operations and supervise crews and subcontractors from start to finish. You will coordinate daily construction activities, ensure safety, and maintain quality on projects in the petroleum sector.

You will travel for training and peak-season work, with responsibilities spanning inspection coordination, reporting, and liaison with Project Managers to meet schedules and budgets.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in commercial petroleum construction or related field supervision.
• Strong leadership to manage crews and subcontractors on site.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and technical documents.
• Travel 50–75% during peak seasons; occasional weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and actively participate in daily field operations
• Supervise job site personnel and subcontractors to ensure work is completed safely and correctly
• Coordinate materials, equipment rentals, and deliveries
• Inspect materials and equipment for quality and accuracy upon arrival
• Schedule and meet with inspectors; manage inspection process
• Conduct and document daily safety meetings and enforce safety compliance
• Maintain a clean, organized, and secure job site
• Monitor project schedules, labor hours, and productivity
• Communicate regularly with Project Managers and Construction Managers
• Document job progress, including daily photo reporting
• Report incidents, delays, or field changes promptly
