Job summary

Corelight in San Francisco is seeking a Lead Software Engineer for the Fleet team to set frontend direction, own architecture, and deliver secure, scalable UI for hundreds of sensors. You will collaborate with backend, UX, and AI-assisted tooling, and drive design system evolution across REST/GraphQL interfaces.

You will ensure security, accessibility, and performance while mentoring engineers and partnering with cross-functional teams to ship impactful features.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development, with senior/lead frontend experience.
• Elite-level expertise in TypeScript, React, and modern frontend ecosystem.
• Experience building or scaling an enterprise design system or component library.
• Strong experience consuming REST and GraphQL APIs; OpenAPI familiarity.
• Testing across unit, component, and end-to-end layers; WCAG accessibility.
• Collaborative with UX designers, product managers, and backend engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead frontend architecture for the Fleet Manager UI, owning state, data layers, and performance.
• Co-own the UX: translate wireframes into accessible, performant interfaces.
• Integrate complex REST/GraphQL APIs to support hundreds of live sensors.
• Evolve and steward the design system across an expanding product surface.
• Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and mentorship; scale the team.
