Job summary

Alteryx is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to build and scale front-end experiences for our AI-driven analytics products. You will work across product areas, design systems, and integration layers to connect front-end experiences to backend services and AI workflows.

You will mentor engineers, drive architectural decisions, and partner with Product, Design, Backend, and Platform teams to deliver end-to-end experiences that are polished, reliable, and user-friendly.

Qualifications

6+ years building production front-end systems with React and TypeScript
Strong experience with component libraries such as MUI or similar
Experience shipping features while owning broader architecture, technical direction, and team enablement
Solid fundamentals in testing, code quality, and scalable UI architecture
Strong collaboration across Product, Design, Backend, and Engineering
Demonstrated technical leadership for a team or area

Responsibilities

Build and ship front-end features for Ask Alteryx and related AI experiences
Design reusable, well-documented component patterns and release processes
Partner with Product, Design, Backend, and Platform teams to ship end-to-end experiences
Improve accessibility, performance, testing, and overall UI quality
Mentor senior engineers and help develop team capabilities
Influence decisions beyond the immediate team and align technical direction with business priorities
