Job summary

Alteryx, Inc. is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to build and scale front-end experiences for our AI-driven analytics products. You will work on React and TypeScript, craft reusable UI patterns, and collaborate with product, design, backend, and platform teams to deliver end-to-end experiences.

You will mentor senior engineers, drive architectural direction, and contribute to design systems and micro frontend initiatives while improving accessibility and performance across products.

Qualifications

• 6+ years building production front-end systems with React and TypeScript.
• Experience with component libraries such as MUI.
• Experience shipping user-facing products with high usability.
• Strong testing, code quality, and scalable UI architecture.
• Proven technical leadership and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship front-end features for Ask Alteryx and related AI experiences.
• Design reusable well documented component patterns and release processes.
• Partner closely with Product, Design, Backend, and Platform teams to ship end-to-end experiences.
• Improve accessibility, performance, testing, and overall UI quality.
• Strengthen technical designs and code through review.
• Drive refactoring, modernization, and technical decisions that improve the product and developer experience.
• Mentor senior engineers and help develop team capabilities.
• Influence decisions beyond the immediate team and align technical direction with business priorities.
