Job summary

Alteryx, Inc. is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to build and scale front-end experiences behind our AI-powered analytics products, focusing on React, TypeScript, and micro frontend patterns. You’ll work with Product, Design, Backend, and Platform teams to shape technical direction and deliver end-to-end experiences.

You’ll mentor engineers, own architecture decisions, and contribute across the stack when needed, helping us deliver polished, reliable, and scalable UI across multiple products.

Qualifications

• 6+ years building production front-end systems with React and TypeScript.
• Experience with component libraries such as MUI.
• Strong UX focus and scalable UI architecture.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship front-end features for AI experiences like Ask Alteryx.
• Design reusable component patterns and release processes.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Backend, and Platform teams on end-to-end experiences.
• Improve accessibility, performance, testing, and UI quality.
• Guide technical designs and code through reviews.
• Drive modernization and architect-level decisions to improve product and developer experience.
• Mentor senior engineers and grow team capabilities.
• Influence direction beyond the team aligned with business priorities.
