Job summary

Capstone is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our fast-paced team, performing receiving/loading tasks, safety observations, and coaching. You will learn all aspects of warehouse operations while supporting management and maintaining a high-performance standard.

You will move pallets and cases using a forklift or pallet jack, work solo or in teams, and interact with customer staff. Prior warehouse experience is preferred, but we provide training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physical work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Lift and carry 25-75 lbs; varied materials.
• Prior warehouse experience preferred but training available for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Stretching exercises before each shift and safety observations.
• Support management and coaching; training others.
• Handle receiving/unloading or loading operations and coordinate with leadership.
• Move pallets and cases using a forklift, pallet jack, or by hand.
• Communicate with customer staff and delivery personnel; oversee a designated area to maintain workflow.

The Opportunity

• Stretching exercises before each shift.
• Safety observations
• Support management

• Plus all the yard marshalling duties
• This is the next step in an associate's path to management
• You will learn al all aspects of receiving /unloading or loading operations within a warehouse facility, working alone or in teams with minimal supervision
• Work with a high level of direct contact with customer's staff and outside delivery personnel; emphasis is placed on the ability to relate in a positive, friendly manner
• Oversee a specified area within work environment to maintain consistent workflow and meet customer expectations
• Handle the movement of pallets and cases on and off trailers and other vehicles by using a forklift, pallet jack or by hand

Requirements

• High-energy individual with a strong work ethic, the work is fast paced and very physical
• Lift and carry 25-75lbs, materials handled vary
• Prior warehouse and/or equipment experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right candidate
