Module, a Pittsburgh-based modular housing company, seeks a senior carpenter lead to manage a 4–6 person crew at our Carnegie factory. You will supervise framing, sheathing, and drywall work, interpret blueprints, and ensure precise tolerances while maintaining safety and quality.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years framing experience with 2–3 years in a lead role.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical documents.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools and construction equipment.
• Proven leadership and teamwork skills with strong communication.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a team of 4–6 carpenters and apprentices to meet daily goals.
• Assign tasks, monitor progress, and provide technical guidance.
• Serve as primary communication between framing crew and production management.
• Anticipate material and tool needs and report shortages to prevent delays.
• Perform framing, sheathing, drywall installation per blueprints.
• Read shop drawings and ensure components meet tolerances.
• Lift and install interior/exterior walls and roof assemblies.
• Conduct quality checks and coach team on best practices.
• Mentor junior carpenters and pursue standardized processes.
