L3Harris Technologies, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Lead FPGA Firmware Verification Engineer in Alpharetta, GA.

You will provide technical leadership for FPGA verification across mission-critical aerospace and defense products, guiding verification planning, testbench development, simulation, and hardware testing. The ideal candidate has strong FPGA design/verification experience, DO-254 know-how, and the ability to mentor teams across distributed sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with 9+ years of related FPGA verification experience
• Experience in FPGA design/verification including simulation, debugging and hardware verification
• Familiarity with SystemVerilog, VHDL, UVM, assertions and coverage
• Experience supporting DO-254 Design Assurance for high-assurance programs

Responsibilities

• Lead FPGA verification efforts including planning, testbench development, simulation and hardware testing
• Develop and maintain verification environments using SV, VHDL, UVM and assertions
• Ensure traceability between requirements, tests and results across programs
• Support DO-254 verification activities and provide lifecycle documentation
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and technical stakeholders to deliver high-quality verification results
• Mentor verification engineers and promote best practices
