Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Salt Lake City, Utah, is seeking an experienced FPGA EW Design Engineer to help develop advanced electronic warfare and wireless DSP systems. You will contribute across the full lifecycle from requirements to field support in a collaborative team.

Candidates should have strong FPGA experience, VHDL/Verilog, and familiarity with ModelSim, Vivado or Quartus; a DOD clearance is preferred or ability to obtain one.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience.
• Current DOD clearance or the ability to acquire one.
• Experience with FPGA verification using simulation and unit testing.
• Experience implementing FPGA-based DSP algorithms and HDL design (VHDL/Verilog).

Responsibilities

• Contribute across the full design lifecycle from proposals to field support.
• Lead small teams of technical contributors as needed.
• Develop EW and wireless DSP systems and verify designs.
• Collaborate with a cross‑functional engineering team to meet performance targets.
