This senior role will partner across various departments to lead financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting. The ideal candidate should have over 7 years of FP&A experience in tech, strong analytical and presentation skills, as well as familiarity with financial tools like NetSuite and Oracle. This role is crucial for aligning budgeting with strategic goals.

Qualifications

• 7+ years FP&A/finance experience, including 3+ years in SaaS/tech.
• Strong expertise in forecasting and financial modeling.
• Excellent communication skills for executive presentations.
• Familiarity with planning tools (Adaptive Insights, Anaplan).
• Excellent communication skills with executive‑level presentation ability.
• Bachelor’s in Finance/Accounting; MBA/CPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasts, and monthly re-forecasts.
• Build and maintain financial models for long-range planning.
• Consolidate financial inputs and deliver insights.
• Consolidate financial inputs across teams and deliver monthly/quarterly reporting with insights
• Analyze SaaS metrics (ARR/MRR, churn, CAC, LTV, gross margin, cohorts)
• Prepare materials for executive and board presentations
• Partner with cross‑functional leaders to align budgets with strategic priorities
• Support pricing, GTM modeling, customer ROI, and capital allocation
• Enhance FP&A processes, reporting frameworks, and planning systems

A fast‑growing SaaS company is seeking an experienced Director of FP&A for a 6‑month contract engagement. This senior role partners across Sales, Marketing, Product, Engineering, Operations, and G&A to lead forecasting, budgeting, financial modeling, and performance analysis. The ideal candidate brings deep SaaS expertise, strong analytical skills, and the ability to influence executive decision‑making in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, quarterly forecasts, and monthly re‑forecasts
• Build and maintain financial models for long‑range planning, scenarios, headcount, and OPEX
• Develop scalable forecasting tools and improve visibility into revenue, expenses, and cash flow
• Consolidate financial inputs across teams and deliver monthly/quarterly reporting with insights
