Saragossa is seeking a Lead Forward Deployed Engineer for the Miami, FL and Austin, TX regions. This player-coach role writes Python and SQL daily, mentors junior engineers, and owns enterprise customer relationships from kickoff through go-live and beyond.

You will deploy AI-powered workflows in manufacturing and supply chain, build data pipelines, and lead conversations with IT executives at Fortune 500 customers, bridging US customers with Paris-based product and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years shipping software in customer-facing or field engineering roles.
• Strong hands-on Python and SQL.
• Experience with data pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise integrations.
• Comfortable working inside regulated or complex enterprise environments (aerospace, defense, industrial, or similar is a plus).
• US citizenship required due to customer security requirements.

Lead Forward Deployed Engineer | Miami, FL / Austin, TX - Relocation packages available.

Series B - Manufacturing and Aerospace - $75mil in Funding.

You are an engineer who ships in customer environments. Not demos. Not proof of concepts. Production systems that change how a factory floor operates, deployed into messy enterprise data stacks where nothing works the way the documentation says it does.

My client is a Series B manufacturing orchestration platform backed by top-tier investors, deployed across 15+ countries with customers including some of the largest aerospace and industrial manufacturers in the world. They are building out their US field engineering function and need a Lead FDE to be the first senior technical hire on the ground, reporting directly into the US leadership team.

This is a player-coach role. You will write Python and SQL daily. You will also set the standard for how the team operates, mentor junior FDEs as they come on, and own the technical relationship with enterprise customers from kickoff through go-live and beyond.
