SalesPatriot seeks a Lead-level engineer to work on-site in San Francisco, embedding with customers to learn quoting and purchasing workflows and to configure the platform accordingly. The role emphasizes delivering customer-facing projects with tangible outcomes and leading a team of forward deployed engineers.

You will write production TypeScript and React, run PostgreSQL queries, and own scoping calls independently while shaping automation behavior for defense and industrial clients.

This role puts a senior engineer inside customer sites during the week to learn how their quoting and purchasing really work, then configure the platform to fit. A strong candidate has owned customer-facing technical projects with clear results, writes production TypeScript, React-style frontends and Postgres queries every week, and can make scoping calls alone. They also lead other forward deployed engineers and can say no to customer asks that would not help.
