R&D Partners in San Carlos, CA seeks a Senior Associate Scientist to independently design, execute, and support formulation development activities advancing drug product pipelines from early development through clinical studies and commercialization.

The role leads complex experiments, designs screening strategies, performs analytical testing, and maintains detailed documentation while collaborating across teams in a lab setting.

Qualifications

• BS degree with 5+ years of industry experience or MS with 3+ years.
• Experience in formulation development is preferred.
• Proficiency in ELN and data analysis tools.
• Ability to independently design and execute experiments and troubleshoot challenges.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacture of complex drug products for formulation and analytical development.
• Design and perform complex experiments and troubleshoot formulation processes.
• Analyze data and present findings in group meetings and reports.
• Prepare buffers and reagents for formulation and analytical work.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all experiments (ELN).
• Ensure lab organization, inventory control, and safety/regulatory compliance.
