Job summary

Goodwill Greater Milwaukee & Chicago seeks a Lead Forklift Driver to guide daily warehousing operations, set the pace of production and movement of product, and provide solutions to workflow issues. You will work with supervisors and teammates to meet standards and customer needs.

This role requires hands-on leadership, safety discipline, and experience with forklift operation, inventory control (FIFO), and equipment maintenance. Training others and ensuring accurate logs are part of the job.

Qualifications

• MUST have flexible hours and valid forklift experience.
• Experience with machinery preferred but not required.
• Forklift certification may be requested or required.

Responsibilities

• Sets pace of production and movement of product; assists teammates and adjusts workflow to meet standards and goals.
• Trains employees on good practices as directed by management.
• Identify and address safety concerns and follow safety guidelines.
• Maintain inventory control processes (FIFO).
• Ensure bale and load weights meet customer expectations and secure freight in trailers.
