Qualifications

• Work varied schedule and flexible hours.
• Reliable transportation to travel between Goodwill locations during shift.
• Experience with machinery preferred, but not required.
• Forklift certification may be requested or required.
• Prior work experience must include roles with forklift usage up to 50% of the day.

Responsibilities

• Sets pace of production and movement of product; assists teammates and adjusts workflow to meet standards.
• Communicates with management when support is necessary.
• Train employees to ensure good practices are understood and applied.
• Self-directs workload; collaborates with supervisor to maintain steady pace.
• Identify and address safety concerns.
• Follow defined processes for protection of high value assets including forklifts and equipment.
• Maintain inventory control processes (First In First Out).
• Contribute to continuous improvement in material flow and equipment maintenance.
• Ensure bale and load weights meet customer expectations.
• Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools.
• Meet productivity goals using best practices; complete logs/reports.
• Maintain organization of operating materials.
