Qualifications

• Three years as a Forensic Registered Nurse or equivalent federal title.
• Four years of professional nursing for care, custody and psychiatric patients.
• Active PA RN license; temporary permits must convert within 1 year.
• PA residency waiver for this title; ability to perform essential job functions.

Responsibilities

• Staff supervision: direct, evaluate and oversee nursing staff in forensic care areas.
• Resource support: assist nursing teams and interdisciplinary partners.
• Environment safety: maintain a safe, therapeutic setting for patients and staff.
• Training coordination: guide staff development, orientation and ongoing training.
• Performance guidance: coach staff and support corrective actions as needed.
• Information management: manage communication, records, and patient care documentation.
