Job summary

Platinum Global Talent Solutions is seeking a seasoned Force Account Construction Manager for the Hudson Tunnel Project in the New York area. The role drives force account activities, budgeting, scheduling, and stakeholder coordination to deliver a landmark transit infrastructure program.

You will oversee change control processes, reporting, and close collaboration with project teams to ensure operational readiness and successful rail activation on this major capital project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 15 years minimum experience in the Railroad industry.
• Proven experience in project management and construction management.
• Strong understanding of change control processes and project documentation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all force account activities aligned with project requirements and timelines.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of force account operations.
• Oversee budget, scope, and schedule of force account activities with PMs and construction teams.
• Administer evaluation and approval of all change requests and assess impacts.
• Prepare regular progress reports, safety incidents, highlights, and physical progress documentation.
• Support construction management including constructability reviews and readiness for rail activation.
• Review project drawings with operations and outages to provide feasibility and planning input.
