Clarks seeks a Senior Designer to lead footwear design efforts from concept to fruition. The candidate will mentor junior designers, manage key projects, and collaborate with global teams to translate trends into market-ready silhouettes. Strong technical drawing, presentation, and multitasking abilities are essential for success.

The role is based in Needham, MA, requiring onsite presence five days a week, with opportunities to drive innovation across multiple constructions and color finishes.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Design or equivalent.
• Work experience in footwear design.
• Proven creative and technical ability demonstrated through portfolio.
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Office.
• AI proficiency or willingness to learn.
• Miro experience a plus.
• 3D skills a plus.
• Strong sketching skills.
• Exceptional technical drawing skills for uppers and outsole specifications.
• Exceptional presentation and storytelling skills.
• Proven ability to juggle multiple constructions at a time, across all categories of footwear and drive innovation from concept to go-to-market samples.
• Strong interpersonal skills, collaborative team player, eager to mentor less-experienced team members.
• Onsite 5 days a week.

Mansioni

• Physically shops the market throughout the season and analyzes trends for target consumer.
• Collaborates with Global Design Team to create seasonal stories and mood boards.
• Develops key constructions from sketch to prototype and go-to-market.
• Creates upper designs for existing constructions and reimagines as needed.
• Produces design boards to communicate solutions and seasonal direction.
