Job summary

Global Sports Jobs Limited in Florida is seeking a senior Footwear Designer to lead projects from concept ideation through to tech pack and revisions, collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners. You will drive design direction across performance, lifestyle and innovation segments.

You will mentor designers, champion new digital design tools, and ensure consumer insights translate into compelling product narratives.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in industrial design or related field accepted.
8 years' experience designing and developing innovative footwear and other products.
Knowledge of form, colour, materials and human factors related to elevating the consumer experience.
Ability to translate consumer knowledge and insights into product solutions and narratives.
Strong Photoshop and Illustrator skills.
Strong sketching, illustration, visualisation and rendering skills.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials.
Ability to generate a broad range of concepts and solutions for each project.
Experience with presentation programs such as Keynote, PowerPoint and Acrobat.
Fluency in 3D tools such as Blender, Gravity Sketch, Fusion 360 or Rhino.
Fluency in AI tools such as Vizcom, Blender, Runway or Sora.
Fluency in tools such as Illustrator, Photoshop and Keynote.

Responsibilities

Lead footwear projects from sketch ideation and concept visualisation through presentation, tech pack and revisions.
Work across all categories of performance, lifestyle and innovation footwear.
Deliver projects spanning high-volume programmes through to one-off inspirational concepts.
Collaborate with a wide range of teams across the business.
Work directly with internal and external partners to test, evaluate and recommend new digital design tools.
Mentor other designers on new and innovative design processes.
