Job summary

Maverik is hiring a Lead Food Service Team Member in Arizona. You will lead by example, support your team, and help deliver fresh food and exceptional customer service in a fast-paced store environment.

You’ll oversee food preparation and displays, reinforce Maverik’s GET (Greet, Engage, and Thank) standards, and train Team Members to uphold safety and quality while providing a memorable customer experience.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ to apply.
• Must obtain and maintain the food safety certification required by the applicable state or local jurisdiction.

Physical Requirements:

• This position involves frequent standing, walking, handling, and horizontal reaching. It also requires reaching above shoulder level and below the waist, as well as activities such as bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, and pushing. The role may involve lifting, carrying, or moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work safely with equipment that generates and maintains high temperatures, while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
