Responsible for coordinating all activities within assigned area including scheduling, training and direction of staff, conducting inspections to evaluate adherence to quality control standards, HACCP procedures, food code regulations and FSMA (Food Safety Modernization Act) guidelines as determined by the Manager. Manages cash control/ Security procedures. Assumes responsibilities and ownership of the Department as a whole, inclusive of Patient and Cafeteria service; commissary and/or Hot/Cold Food Production; storeroom/inventory/drivers or Sanitation. This position may require various types of automated equipment which would require training/certification.
