Maschio's Food Service Inc. is seeking a dependable Lead Food Service Worker to join our school lunch program. You will assist with daily kitchen operations, prepare meals, and help ensure quality service for students in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

This role offers a Monday–Friday day schedule with no weekends or holidays and summers off, making it ideal for reliable team players who value safety, cleanliness, and collaborative work with school staff to provide nutritious meals.

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience required.
• K-12 school food service experience is a plus.
• Able to obtain required clearances for school setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily kitchen operations and meal service.
• Prepare food and assist with cooking breakfast and lunch.
• Follow recipes and food preparation guidelines.
• Assist with placing food and supply orders.
• Monitor inventory and report supply needs.
• Receive, organize, and stock deliveries.
• Operate the POS system and handle cashier duties.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures.
• Assist with other kitchen duties as needed.
• Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations.
