Job summary

LifeCare Medical Center in Roseau, MN is seeking a Food and Nutrition Services Supervisor to lead the day-to-day operations of the food service department, supervising up to 30 employees in meal production that adheres to nutritional standards and safety regulations.

You will work a 7:00am-3:30pm shift, ensure sanitation, assist with menu development with the Registered Dietitian, and manage inventories while maintaining cost-effective purchasing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum two years of supervisory experience in food service.
• Experience in food production, planning, preparation, and meal service.
• Experience supervising staff, coordinating daily operations and maintaining food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Food Service Department operations at LifeCare Medical Center.
• Monitor staff performance and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Develop menus with R.D. to meet nutritional guidelines.
• Manage inventory and orders to maintain quality and cost control.
• Support survey readiness and participate in regulatory processes.
