Job summary

LifeCare Senior Living in Roseau, MN is seeking a Food Service team member to prepare, serve and sanitize meals for patients and residents. The role requires maintaining sanitation and safety standards, transporting carts, and following recipes and dietary instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintains work areas to meet sanitation and safety standards.
• Transport food carts to patient/resident units as specified.
• Prepares menu items according to recipes, spreadsheets or supervisor instructions.
• Serves the cafeteria customers in a courteous manner with accuracy in pricing and portion control.
• Assembles patient/resident meals according to diet, meal tickets, spreadsheet and/or Kardex.
• Assists in the care and maintenance of department facilities, equipment and supplies as directed.
• Ensuring food is served in a safety and timely manner.
• Follows all cleaning and temperature checklists as required per shift.
• Maintaining proper dress code including good personal hygiene.

The Food Service employee prepares and serves palatable, nourishing, well-balanced diets to meet the daily nutritional and special dietary needs of patients and residents. Tasks include store, prepare or serve food and to clean and sanitize equipment and workspaces in compliance with facility policies and procedures and state and federal laws and regulations.

Pay Range: $19.09-$22.64
