Job summary

Simmons Foods is seeking a production supervisor to lead an assigned team in a food processing facility in Kansas. You will oversee product processing, packaging, and storage while ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance under FDA, USDA, and company rules.

Responsibilities include scheduling, attendance tracking, mentoring frontline staff, driving productivity, applying LEAN principles, and coordinating with other departments to meet daily production targets and control costs while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or 4 years related work experience with at least 1 year in a leading role.
• Must be able to read and write English.
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control and costs.

Responsibilities

• Leads a team of front-line employees to meet daily production requirements.
• Schedules, tracks attendance and reviews time off for direct reports.
• Supervises safety, teamwork and discipline in the plant.
• Maintains inventory records and coordinates with other departments.
• Drives productivity, applies LEAN concepts and ensures quality compliance.
• Manages reports and communicates across departments to meet targets.
