Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or technical school diploma required; or two to three years of manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Independently troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical equipment failures with minimal supervision.
• Perform advanced preventive and predictive maintenance activities, including lubrication, thermal imaging, belt tension verification, and equipment condition monitoring.
• Dismantle, inspect, repair, rebuild, and reassemble machinery and components to restore performance.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and drawings to fabricate and modify parts.
• Install, repair, and maintain pumps, valves, bearings, conveyors, and drive systems.
• Lead production changeovers and ensure equipment meets specifications.
• Participate in planned shutdowns, overhauls, and capital improvement projects.
• Support root cause failure analysis using 5 Whys and Fishbone diagrams.
• Train, coach, and guide Maintenance Mechanic I personnel.
• Use CMMS to manage work orders, records, and inventory.
• Communicate with operators and supervisors regarding status and issues.
• Ensure a safe, GMP-compliant work environment and comply with safety policies.
