Job summary

Stellar in Jacksonville, FL seeks a Senior Process Engineer to lead design and implementation of food and beverage processing solutions. The role covers raw material handling, thermal processing, blending, filling, and safety compliance, with cross-functional collaboration across product development, engineering, and field staff.

Responsibilities include designing processes, developing equipment specs, coordinating with 3rd parties, and supporting installation and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Chemical, Manufacturing, Mechanical or related).
• Experience in food or beverage manufacturing systems is preferred.
• Knowledge of 3A, USDA or FDA sanitation is desirable.
• Familiarity with process design and commissioning in design-build/EPC settings is a plus.
• Proficiency with CAD/BIM tools and Excel is expected.

Responsibilities

• Design processes to meet project goals and optimize plant layouts.
• Engineer process equipment, develop P&IDs and specs, coordinate 3D modeling.
• Support procurement, bid reviews, submittals and factory acceptance testing.
• Assist installation, site travel for technical support, and commissioning activities.
• Maintain knowledge of food industry trends and regulatory requirements.
