Randstad USA is seeking an experienced Folder Gluer Operator for a direct hire opportunity in Bolingbrook, IL. This position sets up, operates, troubleshoots, and maintains folder gluer equipment used to convert printed sheets into finished folding cartons, adhering to quality and food safety standards.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience with high-speed gluing equipment, performs complete machine make-readies, leads production crews, and works in a fast-paced manufacturing

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years operating Folder Gluer machines.
• Experience in folding carton, printing, packaging, or converting manufacturing.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem solving.
• Experience performing machine make-readies and lead production crews.
• Ability to read production schedules and job tickets.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Ability to lead and work with production crews.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate folder gluer equipment for production jobs.
• Perform complete machine make-readies including feeder, folding, delivery, and glue system setups.
• Read schedules, tickets, work orders, and customer specs.
• Verify glue patterns, adhesion, folding specs, scoring, packing, labeling.
