Job summary
KidsStreet Urgent Care in Montgomery, Alabama seeks a Family Nurse Practitioner to join as a full-time provider. You will deliver patient-focused urgent care across all ages, manage a high-volume clinic, and lead a small team after on-site orientation and training.
New graduates welcome. The role offers a comprehensive benefits package with a starting bonus, CME allowance, malpractice insurance, PTO, and 401(k) options after 90 days. On-site schedule includes rotating shifts.
Qualifications
- Must have FNP board certification.
- MSN or higher degree required.
- DOT certification or willingness to obtain (company covers).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with EMR and Microsoft Office preferred.
Responsibilities
- Care for patients within your scope of practice in urgent care.
- Diagnose and treat common acute illnesses and injuries.
- Perform minor procedures and wound care.
- Suture and splint as needed; orthopedic evaluations.
- Review X-rays with radiology support and manage GP/urgent care cases.
- Provide telemedicine and occupational medicine as needed.
