Job summary
ConvenientMD LLC is seeking a Lead Family Nurse Practitioner to head our urgent care team. The role focuses on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care while guiding and mentoring other providers and clinic staff.
You will lead clinical operations, ensure compliant documentation, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes. The ideal candidate holds a Master’s of Nursing (FNP) with a DEA license and BLS certification, plus experience in emergency or urgent
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Nursing (FNP) and NP certification.
- DEA license with no restrictions.
- BLS certification required.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient-centered care with health assessments, exams, and histories.
- Administer diagnostics and interpret results.
- Perform injections, suturing, wound care, and immunizations.
- Educate patients on treatment plans and wellness.
- Document and maintain EMR notes accurately.
- Mentor new-graduate providers and clinic staff.
- Collaborate with team to plan safe dispositions and referrals.
- Maintain knowledge of laws, HIPAA, OSHA, and clinical standards.
