Job summary

MainStreet Family Care in Milledgeville, GA is hiring a full-time Family Nurse Practitioner to deliver fast, patient-focused urgent and primary care. You will lead a small team, work in a high-volume setting, and provide care across ages, including pediatrics and geriatric patients.

Qualifications

• Family Nurse Practitioner Board Certification required.
• MSN, or higher education required (New graduate friendly!).
• Are you DOT certified or willing to become DOT certified (we cover the cost of the certification)?
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working in EMR and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat cold, flu, strep, COVID, and other upper respiratory issues.
• Perform minor procedures (toe nail removal, foreign object removal, etc.).
• Suturing and splinting as needed.
• General orthopedic evaluations/management and review of X-rays.
• Provide general dermatology, eye care, and EKG interpretations.
• Deliver emergency management and GYN care as appropriate.
• Treat children of all ages and provide occupational medicine and telemedicine.
