Job summary

MainStreet Family Care is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner to join our Jasper, GA team full time. You will provide patient‑centered urgent and primary care across a broad scope, including pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics, with strong support and ongoing training.

New graduates welcome. Expect onboarding, mentorship, and a commitment to serving rural communities with extended hours and telemedicine options.

Qualifications

• Family Nurse Practitioner Board Certification required.
• MSN, or higher education required (New graduate friendly!).
• DOT certification or willingness to become DOT certified (we cover the cost).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with EMR and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat cold, flu, strep, COVID, and other upper respiratory issues.
• Minor procedures (toenail removal, foreign object removal, etc.).
• Suturing.
• Splinting.
• General Orthopedic evaluations/management.
• Review of x-rays (over-read by Radiologist, too).
• General Dermatology.
• General eye problems.
• General EKG interpretations.
• Emergency management skills.
• General GYN expertise.
• Treating children of all ages.
• Occupational medicine.
• Telemedicine.
