Aleron is seeking a Fluids GSE Design Engineer II in Briggs, TX, for direct hire. You will design ground fluid systems, develop P&IDs, and oversee installation, testing, and operation of these systems across facilities.

This role requires a mechanical/aerospace background and 2+ years in fluid systems, with travel to test sites as needed. You will coordinate with the GSE technician team, prepare drawings and work instructions, and ensure safety-focused procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• 2+ years in fluid system design (incompressible and compressible).
• 2+ years in a professional setting with fluid systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, or HVAC in a design/assembly/test/operations role.

Responsabilités

• Design ground fluid systems including P&IDs, sizing for cryogenic and other fluids; select components and safety equipment.
• Manage fabrication, installation, checkout, and operation of these systems.
• Coordinate with GSE technician team; produce P&IDs, drawings, and work instructions; plan work.
• Perform activation testing with safety-focused procedures and testing objectives.
• Maintain and upgrade fluid systems; create preventive maintenance plans.
• Troubleshoot nonconformances using the nonconformance system and related instructions.
