Job summary

Relativity Space is seeking a Supervisor of the Fluids Factory to lead a team of Tube Benders, OTW technicians, manual welders, and precision cleaning staff. You will oversee fluid line fabrication operations, manage critical lifts, and coordinate transportation for Terran‑R production on a 1st shift (5AM–3:30PM PT, Mon–Fri).

You will mentor fabricators, set priorities to meet schedules, establish standards, and report progress to upper management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years aerospace manufacturing experience with at least 2+ years as a people leader.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead teams and influence cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Experience with welding processes including GTAW and OTW.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing Principles.
• Nice to have: proficiency in Smartsheets and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a growing team of fabricators, welders, and assembly technicians, providing daily technical direction, career development, and performance coaching.
• Set and maintain priorities for the team to meet evolving program schedules and ensure hardware is delivered on-time and in-spec.
• Help establish process standards and hold technician teams accountable to these processes to ensure quality.
• Communicate daily/weekly progress to upper management including blockers and proposed solutions.
