Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Supervisor for Power Generation Fluid Systems at Starbase to lead technicians fabricating, installing, testing, and commissioning piping and components for natural gas, instrument air, demineralized water, cooling water, and ammonia systems. You will oversee prefab/spool-yard and field work, hire/train staff, and ensure leak-tight, code-compliant installations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• 5+ years hands-on experience with industrial fluid systems.
• 2+ years leading a crew or shift.

Responsibilities

• Supervise prefab/spool-yard and field fluid-system work across shifts.
• Lead and manage a staff of fluid systems technicians, including training.
• Organize work from spool fabrication to field tie-in and testing.
• Fabricate and tie in piping, valves, pumps, and instrumentation per drawings.
• Own plant fluid systems for power generation and related ammonia systems.
• Read and interpret P&IDs, data sheets, manuals, and drawings; suggest improvements.
• Perform hydrostatic, pneumatic, and leak testing; troubleshoot issues.
• Ensure safety, quality, and conformance to specs and codes.
