Job summary

NexGen Land Solutions seeks a Senior Florida Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) to own survey quality and mentor a growing team in Fort Myers, Florida. This remote-first senior role serves as the technical backbone behind complex deliverables and ensures strict adherence to Florida statutes and codes.

You will stamp and seal surveys, review field data, and communicate with title agents, engineers, and developers, guiding projects from scope to licensure while maintaining high-quality standards.

Qualifications

• Stamp, seal, and take professional responsibility for boundary, mortgage, topographic, and construction surveys.
• QA and review all survey deliverables produced by field crews and drafters before they go to clients.
• Communicate directly with title agents, real estate attorneys, engineers, and developers in the Fort Myers market.
• Ensure all work complies with Florida Statutes Chapter 472 and applicable administrative codes.
• Mentor Surveyors in Training (SITs) and junior drafters, reviewing their work and supporting their path to licensure.
• Identify and flag project scope issues, legal description discrepancies, or field data problems before they become client problems.
