Job summary

Intralot, Inc. is seeking an Assembly technician in Ohio who will work on floor-station fabrication, assembly, testing, and calibration of parts to meet specifications. The role requires lifting heavy parts, following blueprints, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

The position demands a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of five years’ related experience, with eligibility to work in the U.S. First/second shift flexibility is required based on production needs.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area is required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (spoken/written) skills.
  • Ability to lift, bend and perform various other physical activities throughout the day, which may include heavy lifting at times.
  • Ability to work 1st or 2nd shift as production demands increase/decrease.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble fabricated parts at floor stations.
  • Test and calibrate parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.
  • Use hand tools to assemble units according to product specifications.
  • Identify units that fail tests or tolerance levels and repairs, as necessary.
  • Study assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
  • Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies.
  • Resolve assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources.
  • Responsible for adhering to preventive maintenance requirements on equipment; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs, as needed.
  • Always maintain a safe and clean working environment.
  • Properly store and maintain production parts, tools, test equipment and documentation.
  • Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
  • Accurate and thorough documentation of production and quality forms.
  • Meet daily production goals.
