Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in aviation or related field required;Master’s preferred.
  • CFI/CFII/MEI certifications and FAA medical certificate required or preferred.
  • Knowledge of FARs, aviation training standards, and flight operations manuals.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Instructor of Record for flight training courses and ensure FAR compliance.
  • Certify training records, enrollment certificates, checks, and report grades for flight courses.
  • Teach professional flight courses and labs; maintain instructional standards and office hours.
  • Develop courses, curricula updates, and assist with degree/certificate proposals.
  • Mentor students and ensure program quality aligns with accreditation standards.
  • Coordinate with FAA representatives and supervise instructors as assigned.
