Job summary

JRC in Washington, DC, seeks a Test Engineer, Flight Testing to lead flight-test instrumentation and coordinate spectrum management for Navy SLBM tests. You will advise DoD stakeholders and work with industry partners to ensure mission success.

The role requires deep defense engineering experience, a Top Secret clearance, and strong briefing and leadership skills to influence senior leaders and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in defense system engineering.
• Experience with missile systems design, integration and testing.
• Knowledge of DoD 5000-series policies and DoD directives.

Responsibilities

• Lead Flight Test Instrumentation Unit activities for SLBM tests.
• Coordinate PAESSP frequency management and spectrum allocation.
• Manage Special Engineering Test processes and baselines.
• Develop leadership-level briefings for senior leaders.
• Represent PAESSP with National Test Range stakeholders.
