Capability Unit
Metrea Strategic Mobility (MSM) operates a fleet of KC-135 aircraft, offering an air-to-air refueling service that seamlessly, safely, and professionally integrates into military aviation training and operations.

Position Summary
The Lead Flight Operations Administrator is responsible for ensuring the seamless execution of flight activities within the organization. This position is essential in maintaining compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements, managing flight records, and facilitating effective communication between Flight Operations, Maintenance, and the Project Management Office. By maintaining accurate records and overseeing operational logistics, the Flight Operations Administrator enhances overall efficiency and supports the organization's mission to provide reliable, high-quality air refueling services.

Role and Responsibilities

  1. Maintain and manage accurate flight records and operational documentation in a timely manner to ensure expeditious submission of post-flight paperwork
  2. Ensure compliance with all applicable government regulations and industry standards
  3. Serve as a primary point of contact between Flight Operations, Maintenance, and the Project Management Office facilitating clear communication regarding flight records
  4. Oversee operational documentation and record-keeping to support efficient and compliant flight operations, including contract deliverables, post-mission currency reports, collection of invoices, and other flight data information
  5. Update the Chief Pilot/Head of Aircrew training on crew currency status
  6. Update the Head of MSM and the Project Management Office on mission success rate, flying hours executed, and flying hours remaining on contracts
  7. Assist in the development and implementation of operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency
  8. Perform all other duties as assigned

Skills and Experience

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in aviation management or equivalent

Experience

  • Proven experience in flight operations or a similar administrative role within the aviation industry
  • Strong understanding of aviation regulations and compliance requirements

Computer Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel

Certificates

  • Valid US Passport

Additional Information

This is a full-time position with typical hours Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with potential on-call requirements. Travel may be required up to 5% domestically and internationally. Work location is remote with MSM HQ in Temecula, CA.
