Compliance Managing Coordinator

Martinez Immigration is looking for a Compliance Managing Coordinator to join our team! The Compliance Managing Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and ensuring adherence to internal compliance standards and regulatory requirements. This role includes reviewing applications, auditing cases, conducting internal audits on a scheduled basis, and tracking the progress of active cases to ensure deadlines are met. The Coordinator will also update case percentages, maintain and revise templates, monitor regulatory changes, and support attorneys with immigration research.

This role is critical in maintaining compliance and ensuring smooth case progression while supporting legal teams in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Review applications
  • Audit cases
  • Conduct internal audits on a scheduled basis
  • Track progress of active cases
  • Ensure deadlines are met
  • Update case percentages
  • Conduct legal research
  • Revise and maintain updated templates, including cover letters
  • Conduct FOIA calls and assessments
  • Monitor regulatory changes and stay informed of changes in immigration laws and regulations that may affect the firm

Qualifications:

  • Associates/certificate in Paralegal Studies, bachelor’s degree, OR equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of employment immigration experience
  • Experience in FAMILY BASED, EOIR, PERM, EB2, EB3, H1B, E2 visas, L visas, P visas, TN
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Fluent in Spanish required; other foreign language a plus
  • Strong understanding of immigration compliance and case management
  • Experience in auditing, regulatory monitoring, or legal support preferred
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to analyze and interpret legal and regulatory updates
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
