Job summary

AWT Labels & Packaging in Garner, NC is seeking a press operator to work Monday-Thursday, 4:00 pm - 2:00 am. The role involves following the press schedule, performing setups, reducing waste, and ensuring color and registration accuracy on high-quality labels and packaging products.

You’ll contribute to continuous improvement, operate within ISO SOPs, and collaborate with a team while maintaining documentation and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years printing experience: mount plates, print cylinders, dies and ink.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn RFID testing software.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects.
• Ability to read work orders and production documents.

Responsibilities

• Follow the daily press schedule.
• Plan setups and changeovers for efficient production.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of workstation.
• Record and file required paperwork accurately.
• Adhere to ISO SOPs and participate in quality improvements.
