Job summary

BPI Medical, based in Fife, WA, is seeking a Flexible Endoscope Repair Technician in a supervisory role to return high-value scopes to clinical service. You will own devices from intake to QA release, diagnosing and repairing across major OEM platforms, and ensuring ISO 13485 documentation and traceability.

The role emphasizes mentoring team members, coordinating with QA and service teams, and maintaining patient-ready equipment across hospitals and health systems nationwide.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One of the following: biomedical/electronics/electromechanical program OR two+ years in medical device repair OR military BMET training OR apprenticeship in biomedical/surgical instruments.
• Manual dexterity and fine-motor precision for miniature assemblies.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and work on-site in Fife, WA.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, disassemble, reassemble flexible endoscopes and verify against OEM criteria.
• Lead complex repairs and mentor junior technicians.
• Document work to ISO 13485 traceability standards.
• Collaborate with Decontamination, QA, and Service Coordination to meet turnarounds.
