Job summary

BPI Medical in Fife, WA is seeking an experienced Flex Repair Technician to provide high quality and cost-effective flexible endoscope repairs in a timely manner and without direct supervision.

You will evaluate incoming endoscopes, perform repairs on Olympus 160/180/190 series, and strive to meet deadlines in a clean, air-conditioned facility with a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year or more of flex repair experience.
• Strong creative problem-solving ability.
• Willing to take on additional responsibility as needed.
• Effective written and oral communication with team members and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate condition, functionality, and cosmetic appearance of incoming endoscopes.
• Provide high quality and cost-effective repairs in a timely manner without direct supervision.
• Perform repairs for Large Diameter Olympus 160,180,190 series (I/T Replace, L/G Replace, E/C Rewire).
• Perform repairs for Small Diameter Video Olympus 160,180,190 series (I/T Replace, L/G Replace, E/C Rewire). (Training Provided)
• Consistently meet or exceed repair deadlines.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Maintain good attendance and hours to meet company goals.

We are looking for a talented Experienced Flex Repair Technicianwho can provide both high quality and cost-effective flexible endoscope repairs in a timely manner and without direct supervision.

Pay Rate:Starting Wage $24hr+, DOE.

We are offering a $750.00 bonus after 30 days of employment and another $750.00 bonus after 6 months of employment.

Successful candidates for this position will be responsible to:

• Evaluate condition, functionality, and cosmetic appearance of incoming endoscopes.
• Provide high quality and cost-effective repairs in a timely manner and without direct supervision.
• Perform all repairs for Large Diameter Olympus 160,180,190 series (I/T Replace, L/G Replace, E/C Rewire etc.)
• Perform all repairs for Small Diameter Video Olympus 160,180,190 series (I/T Replace, L/G Replace, E/C Rewire etc.) (Training Provided, if needed)
• Consistently and effectively meet or exceed repair deadlines
• Follow all safety policies and procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Maintain a good attendance record and work the hours needed to accomplish company goals.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One year or more of Flex Repair Experience
• Exhibit a strong creative problem-solving ability.
• Be willing to take on additional responsibility as needed.
• Effective communication skills, both written and oral with other team members, supervisors, and managers.

Physical Demands:

• Required to sit, stand, and walk as part of the daily routine.
• Vision correctable to 20/20 with full color spectrum recognition is required to discern small variances in measurement, material, and quality.
• Use of Microscope for extended time

Working Conditions:

• This is an indoor-based position located in a repair facility with Air Conditioning.
• A flexible work schedule, based upon workflow and hospital demand, is required.
