Job summary

Bronco Wine Company in Ceres, CA is seeking a Fleet Mechanic III to maintain the safety and reliability of our transportation fleet. You will perform inspections, routine maintenance, repairs, and keep detailed records, while guiding Fleet Mechanics I & II with minimal supervision.

The role requires a high school diploma, 4 years journey-level experience with medium/heavy gas and diesel vehicles, and supervisory experience; ASE T2 certification is desirable. Onsite position with 7-10% travel.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of methods, practices, materials, and tools of the trade.
• Knowledge of outside repair agencies capable of repairing fleet vehicles and equipment.
• Principles and practices of gasoline and diesel repair and maintenance.
• Office and computer skills: filing, scanning, copying, etc.
• Speak and write in English.
• Comprehend and follow orders.
• Supervise and train subordinate staff.

Responsibilities

• Follow company safety practices and procedures.
• Perform BIT inspections.
• Perform preventative maintenance services.
• Inspect, diagnose, service, and repair fleet vehicles and equipment.
• Maintain maintenance records and forms.
• Track recalls, smog inspections, and warranties.
• Coordinate with fleet supervisors on status and location of vehicles.
